There are many variables at play when creating a website and it really depends on the scope of each project. We are perfectionists and don't rush through the design and coding. Most sites take an estimated 4 weeks to complete. If you are on a strict deadline, contact us first and we can work something out.
We manage a cluster of fast virtual private servers (VPS) and include hosting with all our memberships. On the Starter plan, your site will share a VPS with a few other Milky Way clients. Resources are shared but your cost is kept low. Professional plans are assigned a dedicated VPS and do not share its resources. Finally, Business plans utilize scalable cloud technology with a global content delivery network for maximum performance.
Standard updates are on a first come, first served basis generally made within 4-5 days but can vary depending on the request. Priority updates available on the Professional plan are moved to the front of the queue. Rush updates available on the Business plan are started as they are received during normal business hours.
Pretty much everything. Just open a ticket or shoot us an email. We can swap out photos, update bios, change menu items, update book tours, etc. Aside from updates, we take a proactive approach to website security. CMS components are routinely updated and website backups are taken daily.
